The first day of Laser Radial World Championships regatta is over. The sailors and the race committee were able to check the boats and the racing area during the practice race yesterday. At 18:30 the Mayor of Dziwnów Grzegorz Jóźwiak started the Opening Ceremony, where the representatives of ILCA and invited guests were present. The ceremony started with the competitors introduction, all flags of the countries taking part in the championships were presented. There were many attractions for the sailors like Fairy Tale Show and Rafał Brzozowski concerts, accompanied by the reception. The weather was wonderful and everybody was in a very good mood. A special song was dedicated to all the sailors having birthday during the regatta.
